What’s In a Song (The Rock Band Chronicles)

I’ve tentatively suggested the first three sets of The Band With No Name (temp name, until we come up with one, haha!) My plan is to propose this “strawman”, and then as I recruit band members who share the vision, replace songs with their input, thus organically growing a song list that’s true to the mission statement and embraces the voices of the members.

Today, I had the privilege of meeting and jamming with a guitarist/vocalist of exceptional talent. We’ll see where this goes.  I am very optimistic.

The artists that I’ve included in those first three sets include:

Animals
Barry & the Remains
Blondie
Buddy Holly
Chevelles
Cocktail Slippers
Contrast
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Dave Clark Five
Dave Edmunds
David Bowie
Dicatators
Donnas
Doors
Easybeats
Etta James
Gentrys
Hollies
Holly & the Italians
Jam
Jefferson Airplane
Joan Jett & Blackhawks
Joey Ramone
Ko & the Knockouts
Led Zeppelin
Lou Reed
Mitch Ryder
Pretenders
Ramones
Rattlers
Republica
Rolling Stones
Romantics
Roxy Music
Runaways
Scouting For Girls
Sex Pistols
Social Distortion
Sonny Bono
Soup Dragons
Sugar Stems
Traffic
Twisted Sister
Waterboys
Yardbirds

Stay tuned, as this adventure continues. Peace, love, dove homies.
